Add a punch for someone not listed
Add someone
Before payroll: check the pay period, fix what is flagged, then type the hours into the Paychex pay grid (the list below). Type your PIN to start.
Or check a Sling timesheet export (while Sling still runs):
What gets flagged
Also flagged:
- A missing clock-out or break end (that day stays out of the file until the punch is added on Timesheets)
- A scheduled day with no punches
- Hours with no shift on the schedule
- A day over 12 hours
- Anyone with no Paychex Worker ID
Check these first
Type these into Paychex
- Hours in decimals, for the Hourly Hours and Overtime Hours columns in Paychex
- Overtime = hours over 40 in a week (Monday to Sunday)
- Only approved weeks with no missing punches
Hours by person
Paychex IDs
From Paychex: the company ID, and each person's Worker ID. Type each once; they are saved for next time.
Who was late, no-show, left early, missed punches, or had their shift changed. Type your PIN to start.
From the Time Clock, the Schedule and Time Off.
- Late = clocked in more than 15 minutes after the shift start
- Left early = more than 10 minutes before the shift end
- Long break = over 60 minutes
- No-show = on the schedule, no punches, no approved time off
- Last-minute change = shift changed less than 24 hours before it (changes counted from Oct 24, 2026)
Weekly 1:1s: type your PIN, pick the person to add talking points or see their attendance, pace and growth. Only Save meeting notes counts as a 1:1.

Each station gets a tablet (open its link) and a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner. Print the station's barcode cards and keep them at the station. Workers scan a card for 1 or 10, then CONFIRM (or scan the CONFIRM card). Packing scans the order sheet barcode, so every order counts once.

Log a mistake that reached a customer. It goes on the team count, this weekly report and that person's 1:1. If the order sheet said what the customer typed, it is on the customer, so don't log it.

End of your shift: tell us how your station went today. Be honest; this is how we fix things. Jared, Juan or Alec will read it.

Daily Reports are no longer required: the tablets and the Scan Station keep the counts. Use this screen to log mistakes and good catches. If you do send a report, pick the name, the hours, then a quick list or a photo of their clipboard or tally sheet.
These also show on the Daily Feedback screen.
Mistakes and catches today
Caught in the shop = a good catch (bad stain, misspelled name, missing piece fixed before it shipped). Good catches never count against the team; they show on the Scoreboard. Reached the customer = it shipped wrong (wrong or missing photo, someone else's order, misspelled name, box that won't latch). Only these count toward the team's weekly mistake limit. Supplier defect = a bad part from a supplier (dead fingerprint lock, damaged frame); these build the monthly list for the supplier.
Or leave them here and they are saved with your report.
